CULTURALLY-ADAPTED HOSPITALITY & TOURISM TRAINING PROGRAM

Tourism is evolving along with the demand for cultural experiences. This training program will teach learners the transferrable and necessary skills to be successful in this exciting industry while earning globally recognized certifications.

Open to all First Nations, Inuit and Metis people living in the Wood Buffalo region. Must have minimum Grade 10 as a pre-requisite.

Start Date: August 11, 2025

9-WEEK PROGRAM WITH A 4-WEEK VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT

For both and new and existing employees working within the Hospitality and Tourism industry* such as:

  • Food Service

  • Hotels

  • Entertainment

  • Camps

  • Venues

  • Casinos

  • Tourist Attractions

  • Stadiums
