CULTURALLY-ADAPTED HOSPITALITY & TOURISM

7-Week Program begins May 11, 2026

This opportunity supports youth entering the workforce, adults returning to employment, and those exploring a new career path. Participants gain industry-recognized certifications, job-ready skills, resume and interview support, cultural knowledge, and direct connections to employers who are hiring.

Application Deadline: April 30, 2026

Pursue opportunities across industries such as:

  • Hospitality and accommodation

  • Food and beverage services

  • Tourism and visitor services

  • Customer service and service-based industries

  • Events, recreation, and venue operations

This course is offered to all First Nations, Inuit and Métis people living in the Wood Buffalo Region.

Program funded by Alberta’s Indigenous Relations and in partnership with Channer Consulting & Training.
