This program is offered to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people living in Fort McMurray.

Deadline registration is December 16, 2025

Program Dates: February 2 to 27, 2026

This is a 4-week in-person program with hands-on training and includes:

• Life Management Skills

• Employment Skills

• Safety Training

• Haul Truck Operator Training

Participants must:

• Be Indigenous living in Fort McMurray

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Grade 12 or Equivalent (GED or CAEC) or 10 years of work experience

• Class 5 License non GDL

• Clear Driver’s Abstract

• Pass a Physical Demands Test

• Pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
