The ATC Career Fair will be held from March 5-6, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray.

Best known for his role as "Mo" in the Paramount Network series Yellowstone. A fan favourite, Mo Brings Plenty is a consultant, producer, actor on several popular television dramas, and an inspiring speaker. An enrolled member of the Lakota Nation, his passion for advocating for Indigenous rights inspires change. “We are thrilled to have Mo as the keynote speaker,” said Chief Allan Adam, President of the Athabasca Tribal Council. “His work and career as an Indigenous actor and advocacy for Indigenous rights inspire many. I look forward to his keynote address to the youth and job seekers at the ATC Career Fair.”

The ATC Career Fair extends an open invitation to all individuals in the region on both days. It is free to attend. A special invite has been sent to over 500 urban and rural students from the Wood Buffalo region to attend on March 5th. College and university students are also invited to join. Mo Brings Plenty will deliver his keynote speech on March 5th.

“It is an immense honor and privilege to be invited as the keynote speaker at this important event. When it comes to our Indigenous youth, I am all in when it comes to preparing them to be the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, advocates, and change-makers,” said Mo Brings Plenty. “I grew up on a remote Indian reservation where opportunities like this simply didn’t exist, so I‘m fully aware and understand the impact an event like this can have based on how it would have affected me in my younger years,” continued Mo Brings Plenty. “I commend the Athabasca Tribal Council and event organizers for bringing together brilliant young people to share ideas, inspire each other to dream about the success they can create for themselves, and potentially build lifelong connections. Their voices and leadership matter now more than ever! Nurturing their aspirations right now is the work of building resilient communities,” Mo Brings Plenty stated further.

“The ATC Career Fair is shaping up to be a high-impact opportunity for students, job seekers, and employers,” stated Brittany Kozak, Director of Employment and Training at ATC. “We have a great event planned with businesses and industry leaders from all over the province signed up as exhibitors. We have cultural performances planned and an Industry and Indigenous Speaker Panel ready to discuss key topics for job seekers and career makers. With keynote speaker Mo Brings Plenty, we are sure to inspire everyone to follow their aspirations to success.”
