Are you interested in working as a labourer? 

Athabasca Tribal Council’s Kickstart Your Career Training Program might be just the fit for you. This 11-day program will provide participants with tickets and skid steer training. Participants will receive PPE, Local 92 Initiation Fee including three-month union due fees and completion bonus.

11-Day Program | October 17-27, 2022

Registration Deadline is October 14.

Training includes:

  • Air Purifying Respirator

  • Wildlife Awareness

  • Flagging

  • Confined Space

  • Fire Watch

  • Gas Detection

  • Respiratory Protective Equipment

  • H2S Alive

  • Skid Steer

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be Indigenous (First Nation, Métis or Inuit)

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Living in the Wood Buffalo Region

  • Pass drug & alcohol test

  • Driver’s License is not required but is considered an asset
