Response Intake Coordinator - Fort Chipewyan
Under the supervision of the Wellness Outreach Supervisor, the Response Intake Coordinator (RIC) will be responsible for receiving intake calls and coordinating team responder(s) as needed to deliver immediate mental health and wellness outreach response to nation members in crisis. The RIC will also be a part of a collaborative team that will work closely with other community and outside programs and resources to offer an integrated support model of services to our service users. Supports a progressive team in delivering short term prevention, interventions, programs and resources to children, youth, and families.
Cultural Liaison
Under the supervision of the Wellness Outreach team Supervisor, the Cultural Liaison Worker (CL) will be responsible for delivering immediate mental health, wellness, and culturally appropriate outreach responses to nation members in crisis. The Cultural Liaison will conduct risk and safety assessments specific to mental health, conduct mental check-ins, offer support and assist in developing after-care plans for members accessing services. Supports a progressive team in delivering short term culturally appropriate prevention interventions, programs, and resources to children, youth and families while developing community capacity and community champions.
Elders Support Responder- Fort Chipewyan
Under the supervision of the Mental Health and Wellness Outreach Supervisor, the Elders Support Responder will be responsible in delivering immediate mental health and wellness outreach response to Elders in crisis. The ESR will conduct risk and safety assessments specific to mental health, conduct mental check-ins, offer support, and assist in developing after-care plans for members in alignment with cultural practices.
