Increase your understanding of trauma and why it’s important to use trauma-informed care when supporting a friend or family member.

Recognize the presence of trauma in yourself or your loved ones. Identify the symptoms and acknowledge the role trauma may play in your life and the life of those you care about. Understand how you can support recovery and stop the cycle that trauma can cause.
