Registration open and ongoing

Open to all 14+ First Nations, Inuit, and Métis men, Two-Spirit, and non-binary people, from across the Wood Buffalo region. 

This is a safe space to learn traditional roles while respectfully supporting Elders and Knowledge Keepers during ceremonies and traditional healing practices.

Gather the knowledge to develop skills to support local Knowledge Keepers.

  • Learn directly from Cree and Dene Elders and Knowledge Keepers.

  • Build lodges, tipis, and other traditional structures. 

  • Prepare for ceremonies, sweats, and how to identify and use traditional medicines.

  • Gain confidence in your cultural identity and serve the community with pride.

  • Attend community events, ceremonies, and traditional teachings.
