The Board of Directors consists of the Chiefs from each of the five First Nations.
Serving as President is Chief Allan Adam from the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation.
Our Board of Directors has an important role in establishing long-term goals and objectives that help to achieve our Vision. They are also responsible for overseeing the direction of the organization, including the strategy, business objectives, and plans of ATC.
Working in collaboration with the CEO, the Board:
Provides input on, and establishes, the strategic direction of ATC;
Understands the risks facing the organization and the opportunities available to it;
Oversees the implementation and execution of the approved strategy by the CEO and employees; and
In association with the oversight of the organizational strategy, the Board approves the financial budget, monitoring the financial performance, reviewing financial statements and providing guidance to our CEO
